Program: Job Search & Hiring from a Business Owner’s Perspective with Glenn Phillips, President and Chief “Nerd to English” Translator for Forte’ Incorporated
About the Presentation Job Search Mistake or Interviewing Mastery? Glenn has hired employees and helped clients hire employees. He knows what it is like to be laid off. He’ll be candid about things that are helpful and harmful to your search. Glenn advises job-hunters not to be a boring clone, annoying interruption or desperate bad fit. He believes that some of your “packaging” can mask your best features and attributes.
About Our Speaker Glenn S. Phillips works with leaders who want to leverage technology and understand risks within.
Businesses hire Glenn and his team to support growth, increase profits, and address dangerous risks lurking in their processes and technology.
Glenn is President and chief “Nerd to English” translator for Forte’ Incorporated.
A variety of media outlets quote Glenn, including The Wall Street Journal, ABC News Now, Psychology Today, and Entrepreneur magazine and he is the author of the book Nerd-to-English: Your Everyday Guide to Translating Your Business, Your Messages, and Yourself.
Glenn periodically plays his really ugly tuba (complete with a bullet hole in the bell), enjoys a good pun, great music, and dark chocolate.
